Description: Discovered in the 1800’s, but first commercialised in 1936 as a substitute for rubber in cable manufacturing. PVC is commonly distinguished into 3 groups: Rigid, Plasticized and later. Industrial (Rigid) PVC sheet has excellent impact strength even at cold temperatures, superior chemical and corrosion resistance and is easy to fabricate, weld and machine. PVC Foam Sheet is often used in display and exhibition boards, signage, printing, interior fit outs.
