Custom CNC-Cut HDPE Shapes in Melbourne

Profile Plastics CNC-cuts HDPE to your drawing, from a single custom shape to repeat volume runs. We cut the full part, including the main body shapes, small details such as eyes, and any holes that need drilling, then round the edges so the finished piece is ready to fit.

It's work we do for makers of play equipment and other custom products, from our Kilsyth workshop in Melbourne's east. Send us a drawing and we'll quote it.

What we cut

  • Body shapes and profiles cut to your drawing
  • Small components and details, such as eyes, cut as separate parts
  • Drilled holes for fixing and mounting
  • Rounded edges on cut parts

HDPE we use for this work

  • Thicknesses: 12mm and 19mm are the typical sizes for this kind of work. HDPE is available from 3mm to 50mm, so tell us what you need.
  • Colours: solid-colour sheet in natural/white, black, green, blue and other colours on request.
  • Grades: standard HDPE, plus UV-stabilised grades for outdoor use.
  • Why HDPE: it's durable and chemical-resistant, which is why it suits parts that live outdoors and get handled a lot.

One-off to volume runs

We cut single prototypes and repeat runs. Repeat work is on an as-needed basis, so you can reorder when you need more without holding stock. Our CNC bed runs sheets up to 7.2m × 3m, so large parts and efficient nesting across a full sheet aren't a problem.
